The Spirit of an Entrepreneur

Were you blessed with the entrepreneurial spirit? You know that one that doesn’t allow you to keep a regular 9-5 Women in the Windjob, the one that keeps you dreaming at night about making it BIG!?

If you have the entrepreneurial spirit, you know it from early on. You probably skipped around to a lot of different jobs, felt trapped at work, and dreamed of a life of freedom and flexibility. Some may see this as a curse, but in reality the spirit of the entrepreneur is a gift. This spirit was given to you at the time of your birth, the Universe gave you a light so bright that you knew you would just have to share it with the world. Have you ever felt this way?

People may think that entrepreneurs are a little different, they are risk takers, they are selfish, crazy, insane, lost their mind and they’ll be encouraged to get a “real job,” a job with retirement, healthcare, and stability. But these are all of the things that the entrepreneurial spirit doesn’t really care about. They care more about their freedom, expression, creativity, independence, passion, and purpose.

It is hard for people to understand these wild spirits, but there is no other way for a true entrepreneur. In the end, the risks and the rewards are all worth it. Even if they have failed many times, they will continue to get back up and try again.

The ones telling them to get a job will go to work the next day and attend a diversity training class. 🙂 Good post.

Excellent post Andrea!! I can totally relate to this. Many people are too concerned with impressing employers and making their resume look good whereas entrepreneurs are more involved into things that will help them fulfill their passion and achieve their purpose. I have faced lot of opposition and remarks with regards to this and have gotten used to it due to the reason highlighted in the post above^___^.
